1826 reduction

Every historic geological print you order is printed on-demand on high quality giclée printers by Max Communications’ staff.

Photography and oil paintings are printed on 300gsm lustre photographic paper (semi-gloss) to provide superb vibrant prints that provide exceptional quality and long life. The fine “texture” helps reduce glare and the adverse effects of fingerprints.

For drawings, etchings, watercolours and maps we provide 310gsm Fine Art/Cotton RAG paper perfect for display and framing. For general use (e.g. for maps) and inclusion in folios as folded material we offer a 170gsm matte paper as an alternative to the higher gsm Art Paper.

We offer print sizes up to the size of the original on the site as reflected on each page.

Please note that each print will have a minimum border within the above paper sizes of 5mm (0.197 inches). Images which are not in proportion to the standard paper sizes will have a minimum border of 5mm (0.197 inches) in one direction and a greater border in the other direction with the image sitting centrally on the paper.

We are happy to accept enquiries for special sizes, materials and other services such as framing and mounting. Please contact us to discuss your own requirements for images in sizes and finishes of your own choice outside the offered range. We will be happy to try to help.

Should have any questions with regard to the production of your print please email us at gsl@maxcommunications.co.uk.
