William Hasledine Pepys was one of the original 13 founders of the Geological Society of London.

WILLIAM HASLEDINE PEPYS (1775-1856), of the Poultry, a member of the Society of Friends, was a chemist and natural philosopher, and a descendant of Sir Richard Pepys, Lord Chief Justice of Ireland.
